Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator, SysOps Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including IAM, Networking, SSM, EC2, S3, Security configurations, Billing reports, Cost optimization
  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols and services
  • Solid experience with cloud security best practices: security configuration, observability, penetration testing, alerting, incident response
  • Proven experience managing user accounts, RBAC, and enforcing access policies
  • Hands-on implementation of SSO solutions using SAML or OIDC protocols (e.g., Okta, Keycloak)
  • Experience configuring and administering tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence
  • Familiarity with access logging, auditing, and reporting for compliance and security monitoring
  • Ability to implement and maintain infrastructure security (user access controls, patch management, SSL/TLS, firewall rules, backups)
  • Strong experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Solid working knowledge of Linux (Debian or RedHat-based systems)
  • Proficiency with version control tools (Git)
  • Scripting skills for automation and tooling (Bash, Python)
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
  • Intermediate or higher level of English (spoken and written)
  • Experience with Docker and basic orchestration (Docker Compose, Kubernetes basics)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust networking concepts or VPN configuration
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and compliance audits (AWS Inspector, Nessus)
  • Exposure to IAM governance frameworks and account separation strategies (AWS Organizations, SCPs)
Responsibilities:
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems in alignment with security best practices
  • Secure and harden infrastructure components, including OS configurations, firewalls, and cloud resource policies
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security using observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch)
  • Perform regular system maintenance: updates, patches, backups, and recovery testing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Administer and maintain cloud networking infrastructure (VPCs, routing, VPN connections)
  • Write and maintain automation scripts to simplify routine tasks (provisioning, updates, reporting)
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
  • Maintain endpoint protection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability alerting mechanisms
  • Create and continuously update internal documentation (SOPs, setup guides, security procedures)
  • Participate in incident response, post-mortems, and root cause analyses of system or security events
  • Provide audit trails and reports for internal or external compliance
  • Help enforce cloud cost optimization strategies by monitoring unused resources and right-sizing
  • Continuously improve access control mechanisms using least-privilege principles
